Brock Rice

Tier One Special Operations veteran and software engineer. Leads engineering.

Brock is a Tier One Special Operations veteran, U.S. Air Force Combat Controller, and Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) with ten years of service and multiple combat deployments directing close air support and joint fires.

He is both a combat operator and a software engineer. He leads Omnia's technical development — architecting mission software, TAK integrations, sUAS and counter-UAS integrations, and human-performance platforms grounded in firsthand operational experience.

Kate Rice

Strategic communications and business-development executive. Leads consulting and client relations.

Kate is a strategic communications and business-development executive with extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, executive relations, and large-scale event production.

She has cultivated corporate, foundation, government, and individual relationships across sectors and leads Omnia's consulting practice — positioning, partnerships, and the convenings that turn capability into commitment. She holds a Master of Professional Studies from George Washington University and bachelor's degrees in Political Science and History from Clarion University.

Approach

    Operational experience

    Omnia's engineering lead served ten years in special operations as an end user of the tactical systems the firm now supports. That background informs requirements definition, interface design, and technical recommendations.

    Integration over invention

    Most programs are better served by making existing systems interoperate than by introducing new platforms. Omnia specializes in integrating sensors, data, and command-and-control into the tools operators already use, in partnership with the organizations that build and field those systems.

    Open standards

    Deliverables are built to MOSA, TAK, and open data formats and are fully documented. Clients retain the ability to maintain and extend the work independently.

    Direct engagement

    The engineers who scope an effort are the engineers who execute it. A deliberately small team allows for clear communication, accurate estimates, and candid guidance when a requirement falls outside the firm's expertise.
